We took the tour in the afternoon before we were going to see the "Hamilton" show on Broadway. Our knowledgeable guide, Mary Hannah, took us to a number of historical sites, including the burial ground with graves of Hamilton and his wife Eliza, Federal Hall (where Washington gave his inauguration speech), and the site of Thomas Jefferson's house, which was likely the "Room Where it Happened." She supplemented the tour by showing us artwork on her iPad depicting sites as they would have originally looked. When we ended the tour at the Fraunces Tavern, she even helped us to choose our beverages since she is also a beer expert! Overall, this was an excellent experience, and I would especially recommend it to others who have seen the show or are about to see the show. It added another dimension to our Hamilton experience.
