We eat our way through the charming, iconic and extremely delicious neighborhood of Greenwich Village. As we walk and eat you will see vestiges of the original Dutch settlement and early British influences still visible today. Your three-hour tour will unlock secret food havens nestled throughout this beautiful enclave and you will discover the hidden history found around every corner. As we take a stroll back through time, we will uncover the origins of some of New York's quintessential foods and how they have evolved into the delicious morsels we will indulge in today.

In addition, as with all of our tours, there is our Secret Dish, which will be revealed on the day of your tour.

As a private tour, everything works around you! Our start times are much more easy going, dates can open up. It's a much more intimate and cozy experience. No need to shout over other tourists, you will have every question answered, and leave feeling like a native yourself!

We strongly advise wearing comfortable walking shoes to all of our guests. Our tour runs a little over 3 hours.
We do walk about 3 miles during the NYC tour, and our pizza stop has a couple of steps up at the entrance. All other stops are fully wheelchair accessible.

We had so much fun, lots of interesting bits of history and lots of yummy food. It was raining on our tour - but despite the puddles we all had so much fun. I’d definitely recommend Cal if you wanted to have a great and relaxed afternoon.

We took the walking food tour with Grace who was absolutely fantastic. She was energetic and not only knowledgeable about the restaurants and food that we tasted but also the historic landmarks found within Greenwich Village. We look forward to taking the Little Italy/Chinatown tour with Grace during our next visit to NY!

This was on all accounts a major Highlight of my trip! The price of admission was a trifle when compared to the value I got from being introduced to the Historic Greenwich Village! Our tour guide Grace, lead our small group of four expertly! Safely guiding us through the hustle and bustle of city without making us feel rushed or pressed for time and always with a quick and very interesting tid bit of information about the neighborhood we were exploring together! Moreover, with the group being so small it was so phenomenal to get to know my fellow tour mates including Grace herself! Grace was fantastic greasing the wheels of conversation and helped us truly feel like an old group of friends meeting again after a long time apart! I am truly so pleased I booked the tour and know this “Get Your Guide” I’ll be recommending your services to anyone going to NYC for life! Omg! And that’s not even mentioning the food we went a variety of restaurants that were perfectly spaced and with portions just enough to whet your appetite for more! My all time favorite was the secret restaurant on the list, but every restaurant on the tour held its own and some DID encourage second visits. In particular “Bagels on the Square” which made for perfect breakfast stop before I flew back home! One last personal message to Grace, you’re gonna go places kid! You’re a rising star and I can’t wait to see your name in shining lights one day XD if not you can always fall back on tour guide gig you’re exceptionally talented! - Caleb
