We'll even see Newport Bridge, New England's largest suspension bridge from the water.

Relax on deck of Schooner Madeleine, a beautiful classic sailboat, as the crew raises sail. Drinks are available for purchase onboard and guests are welcome to bring a snack.

This sightseeing sailing experience is great for locals and those visiting Newport in the spring, summer and fall.

Please note parking is difficult in Newport, especially on weekends. Allow at least 60 minutes to park, especially on weekends and holidays as no refunds are given for missing the boat. Guests should plan to arrive at our ticket booth 20 minutes prior to your departure time to check-in. The boat will leave promptly at the scheduled departure time. Please plan accordingly and allow for ample time for parking. For questions about weather, cancelations or rescheduling please call 401.847.0000.
Groups of 10 or more, whether booked together or separately, will be contacted by the operator for a 15% gratuity. Multiple large group bookings are subject to added fees or cancellation by operator

This may be the best sailing trip of my life! The 1.5 hours was over so quickly. We drove up from New Jersey the same day as our 4:30pm sail. I don’t recommend that. We called ahead to say that we were running late, but we would get there. We were directed to park in a nearby lot. Luckily there was plenty of free parking, but we relied on the guidance / instructions in the reservation to locate the correct stone path, flag pole, and green awning we needed to reach. We were running like a scene out of Amazing Race to make it. I called the office a few times. The second d call, after having been directed where to park, I hung up as we had thought we made it, but were misguided by a passenger disembarking a nearby boat tour. We got to the launch and saw the stairs taken away. We begged and the guys running the boat didn’t mind at all that we boarded at the very last second. While on board we were offered a section of beers, wines, and seltzers for $6/$7. This was cash only! Luckily one of us thought to bring cash on the tour. At the start of the sail we got to see the crew raise and lower the sails. I didn’t know how drastic the angle the boat would lean with the sail open. The day was beautiful and we were skimming the water. As we left the bay and were provided with libations, the members of the crew came around and started chatting with all of us. Hunter was exceptionally kind. He shared that he had been boating from a very young age and they go out about 5 times a day during the Summer trips. He also gave us some dinner recommendations, which we were thankful to have considering we’d be hungry after our sail. Each of the members of the staff worked so efficiently together and kept all of the members on board entertained. Unlike more classic tours, there is nobody projecting over a megaphone facts on history. Rather each member came around and started up conversations and answered any questions those of us on board had asked. We booked this trip about a week in advance. The later slots fill up quickly. This really was such a special experience. I do recommend a sail if it’s your first time in Newport!

Very nice cruise, wish they had some historical narration about area and houses in view. I booked for 9 , one member broke her leg and had to go to hospital and was not offered refund??? Disturbing .
