What if we don’t see any mantas? It is an extremely rare occurrence, but if we do not see ANY manta rays on our Night Manta Experience, you are welcome to come back out with us again during the same vacation, based on availability, totally free of charge. Make sure you call us right away so that we may reschedule you! Non-refundable and non-transferable.

Great trip. There are two spots to see mantas on the Kona coast and one of them is just outside the harbor where this trip leaves from. So only a 1.5 hour trip but 45 minutes of amazing time in the water with these incredible creatures. The conditions were perfect and we saw multiple rays the entire time in the water. Lots of close contact barrel rolls under us. If coming to the big island I’d highly recommend this trip. Disclaimer though is that it’s nature so whether the rays are at one of the spots any given nights is not predicable. The captain and crew did an excellent job and we ended the evening with hot chocolate and cookies which was a nice touch.

This experience left us speechless... it was amazing. We were provided shorty wet suits for the night adventure. The boat took us out in the water in front of the Sheraton. Once in the water, we hung on to the rail of a long board outfitted with lights and then placed our feet on noodles to help keep us afloat. With the lights on, we saw huge mantas approached us with their mouths open drawing in zooplankton. The only issue was the water was extremely choppy such that the second tour of the night was canceled. We were happy we were able to do this activity. SeaQuest served hot chocolate and cookies afterwards.

This was the the 4th time we have done this and we saw more mantas this time than we had before. 8 In all and it was as always amazing and IMO the coolest adventure that Hawaii offers. Their "BALLET" is in your face, inches away. The bay was choppier than it had been on our other trips and the crew was very helpful in getting us on and off as we are pushing 70. They couldn't have been nicer! Highly recommended 5 STARS ALL THE WAY!
