Booked the tour in advance. I got a call 2 hours before the trip, telling me office might be closed when I arrive. Then 1 hour before the trip, another call came and it was cancelled. It's holiday season and there is no other available seats from any other operators (called a dozen).

Aloha, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding our safety and tour quality policies. We understand a canceled tour can be very disappointing to all of our guests as well as our staff, our experienced and thoughtful Captains make every effort to ensure that each and every guest's experience meets our stringent standards. Quality becomes an issue long before safety does and we do not feel comfortable charging any individual when there is a possibility one or both of those standards will not be met. It is of the utmost importance to Sea Quest that we ensure the safety of all participants as well as our staff that would be in the water along side you through the duration of the excursion. For that reason as well-ever changing conditions, we utilize up to the minute reports, including first-hand observations from our Captains to determine whether or not a tour should be cancelled due to either of those concerns. This can sometimes result in a last minute weather call, leaving our Captains with no other option than to make the difficult decision to cancel the tour. This is especially true when factoring in the swell and storm system that was impacting conditions over those few days, creating unpredictability and instability. In these instances we make every effort to reach every guest via multiple channels and in some instances multiple times to ensure everyone has the latest information. We take cancellations very seriously, just as we do your feedback. It is our sincere hope that we have the opportunity to share the product of all of this mindfulness with you in the not too distant future. Under different weather conditions, naturally! Amazing experience. It was like watching ballet as we watched them swim below us and then come up higher to brush our arms. Would highly recommend it!

We went Manta Ray snorkeling with Sea Quest. There were a lot of people on the boat but it was still a good experience. They had several good crew people that made it easy and told us a lot of interesting info. 5 minute boat ride and about 45 min in the water. We were lucky to see about 10 different mantas. The crew told us that's more than usual. Some of the mantas came very close and even touched us a few times. We're not allowed to touch them of course.
