What if we don’t see any mantas? It is an extremely rare occurrence, but if we do not see ANY manta rays on our Night Manta Experience, you are welcome to come back out with us again during the same vacation, based on availability, totally free of charge. Make sure you call us right away so that we may reschedule you! Non-refundable and non-transferable.
NIGHT MANTA EXPERIENCE:

Please read and understand the manta guarantee : Manta Guarantee: If zero manta rays are seen, you are welcome back out again. Itʻs that simple. We are fortunate to see mantas almost every night, but on the rare occasion where none are sighted on your tour, Sea Quest invites you to come back out on another night at no additional cost to you, or on a confirmed afternoon snorkeling adventure at no additional charge. No refunds available.

We did a night snorkel for the Mantas after Christmas and we didn't see any. The sea was cloudy after the rains and the mantas didn't show up, which is ok - we all understand nature is unpredictable. But I felt the 'guarantee' is poorly marketed - it's basically a 2 year credit. As this was our penultimate day and we probably won't be back at the Big Island in the next 2 years, it was effectively worthless. The staff seemed friendly and competent.

Aloha! We are very sorry to hear that you are unsatisfied with our manta guarantee. Unfortunately because the manta rays are wild animals, they are unpredictable. We offer the manta guarantee for up to two years in the hopes that you will either be able to return during your current trip or your next trip to Hawaii in order to experience these magnificent animals. We do recommend that you book the manta ray snorkel at the beginning of your trip, so if the mantas do not show up, we are able to reschedule you for a new trip at no additional cost to you. Tour was good. Mantas are great. Extremely seasick inducing if the water is rough though. Staff did a great job to take care of us.

Highly recommended. Captain Steve and his team did an outstanding job. We saw numerous manta rays. It was really an incredible experience.
