At 51 I decided to give surfing a go as a bucket list item. As a swimmer/triathlete/yogi I’m in pretty good shape, which helps make this activity at little easier on the body. I’m so glad I signed up for a lesson with Surf n Sea. I had planned to dive with them but 8ft swells said no to that plan, so I opted for the surf lesson a few days later. Location of the shop was easy to find and check-in was easy. The drive to the beach nearby was easy with ample parking on a weekday. My instructor was super patient with me both in and out of the water. The lesson provided ample time to get the feel of surfing, allow me to get up after a few failed attempts, and gave me a few rides before I was utterly exhausted. Overall a really great experience and I’d book with them again.

It was a lot of fun! Waves were great for a beginner. Instructor was very helpful! Beach was beautiful too. Hope to return!

Henry did an awesome job of showing us the basics and the helping us out in the surf. He’s a great teacher who enjoys what he does.
