This cruise is a must for anyone travelling to Alaska. The cruise starts in Seward and takes you to a number of islands, you see certain animals, sea lions, dolphins and if you are lucky you can see whales. Then goes to a bay where you can see an amazing glasier. The picture is stunning, it is such an interesting phenomenon, it takes your breath away. The cruise includes a packed meal and a drink. It takes in total around 6 hours but it is a must for a visitor.

This tour was the highlight of our trip. We saw orcas, humpbacks, many types of birds and seals. The glaciers were wonderful. I’ve always wanted to see calving glaciers and Northwest glacier did not disappoint. It was a very enjoyable trip! I was a little concerned when we left and it was so socked in with fog you couldn’t see anything, but fortunately the fog lifted and the views were magnificent.

Blue sky definitely added to make this trip extra special. The scenery was just stunning and the calm seas made it an easy ride. Tiffany was a great captain and shared her knowledge and experience humorously. Great to see Stella sea lions, humpback whales and harbour seals as well as some birdlife too. If anything, the trip was maybe an hour too long, particularly as the fog started to roll in added to children on the trip starting to get restless (would recommend a shorter trip for families) so arriving back into harbour was a welcome return. Lovely lunch, great service. Would recommend.
