Seeing two to three types of whales in one watch tour in proximity to each other was a rare treat. Good close view of Northwestern glacier and plenty of time spent there stationary to observe. Too bad they don't serve the salmon lunch anymore, and the breakfast rolls were very dry unfortunately.

It must have been incredible to see multiple types of whales so close together! The close view of Northwestern Glacier sounds amazing too. It's a shame about the changes in the food offerings, though. Hopefully, the breathtaking wildlife and scenery made up for those small disappointments.

Amazing day of touring. Captain and crew were very knowledgeable. They shared their knowledge with a nice bit of humor. Crew was very attentive. We were particularly fortunate to see a number of wales including getting to see bubble-netting and a breach. The cabin was quite comfortable and warm. I would highly recommend doing this longer tour if you have the time.

We chose to take the Northwestern Glacier tour instead of going halibut fishing. The weather was a bit sketchy for Seward and we hoped the tour would be a nice alternative to being seasick and not catching anything but a cold. The Kenai Fjord Northwestern Glacier trip was amazing. Just coming out of port we saw orcas, humpback and fin whales as well a porpoises that swam along side and played with our boat. Captain Chris and crew Jensen, Gail & Cara took great care to inform, entertain and keep us all safe. The glacier and all of the sites were unforgettable. We highly recommend this trip and it's definitely worth the 3 hour drive from Anchorage.
