Whenever I fly to or from John F Airport. Kennedy (JFK) in New York City is about transportation to Manhattan. As we brought a large luggage, a carry and a backpack each, it was difficult for me to think about moving by subway, having to walk and, in many cases, going up and down stairs. This last time, I was monitoring the cost of moving on apps like Uber and Lyft, but I don’t know why I tripled what I’ve paid before. Sometimes I paid $90, other $65 and this time I didn't go below $165, which seemed like a lot. We looked for alternatives and the truth, at least at that time I found nothing, so we ended up booking a large luxury van that we were given as an upgrade. The cost of a luxury car up to the JFK is US$165 including tips and tolls, almost the same as in the Uber XL. I booked by White Rose Experiences, which offers mobility for small groups in cars or large groups of up to 58 passengers, with all variants of number of passengers in between. I remember at one time being consulted by a group of 10 people who wanted to move and at that time I could not resolve the query. The price we saw for a 10 person van is US$275, it is very convenient for large groups. On the other hand, they speak Spanish, which adds up to a lot when coordinating something as important as a transfer.
