After an exhausting final morning walking around Manhattan, we were relaxing in Battery Park, and came across this Clipper City sailing ship.
We had a final excursion to book on our NYC Explorer Pass and they had space available, so we climbed aboard.
What an experience!
The crew were all friendly, they asked for volunteers to help hoist the sails, had a bar open, and ensured we were all having a great time, without being overbearing.
There was enough room for everyone to move around freely, the sights were amazing, out to the Statue of Liberty, past Ellis Island, and slowly back again to Battery Park.
The sailing ship was smooth, so no one felt sea sick.
There is a toilet on board
Crew kept all the ropes neat and tidy.
Overall it was a fabulous way to end our trip to NYC, highly recommended
