Me and my wife have just returned from Oahu and we had booked this excursion months ahead of time because of me and my wife’s love of sharks. I didn’t know what to expect but the moment we hit the spot three miles off shore and that cage dropped the thrill began.!! We were the first in and within minutes we had counted up to 6 sharks around and below us.!! The backdrop was so blue and clear it was as if they were flying through a beautiful blue sky. The videos we have are awesome and our friends and family have enjoyed them as well. The captain and his niece were really cool and answered all of our questions. Pure professionalism!! If you’re gonna be in Oahu or the islands and want a thrill of a lifetime, give North Shore Shark Adventures a ring. You won’t regret it.!!

This was our second time with North Shore Shark Adventures. The tour is a must do at Oahu. Just be aware of sea sickness, that might happen sometimes.

Pros: everything directly connected to sharks was well above expectations. Boat ride out and back, instructions, equipment, knowledge of crew, and most of all, being in the water with the sharks. Incredible experience being thatclose to some pretty sizable, beautiful, creatures.Cons: we see the tip jar. Asking directly for tips is beyond classless. Especially given what we paid for the trip. The van we were transported to and from should be retired, and the loud rap/ horrible/ inappropriate music and music playing driver, need to be replaced immediately. Guess what guys? Not everyone in this fading country enjoys garbage “music”. Maybe some enjoyable classic Hawaiian stuff? And the fit the driver threw after finally being asked to turn it off, was ridiculous. Slamming down his music source? Slamming the van door at stops? Really? We payed to be held captive by this guy? Overall, awesome shark experience, but for that price, class it up a little, huh?
