This is the best way to experience a day trip to the Big Island. Go on a journey flying over the volcano on the A Star helicopter for 45 minutes to 50 minutes. After the helicopter tour we will take you closer to the highlights of Hilo (4 to 5 hour ground tour). Tour duration from Oahu approximately 5:00am - 7:00pm. Times may vary depending on the flight availability.

Once booked this tour is not refundable. On the day of the Helicopter tour, Helicopter portion of the package might be cancelled due to weather and safety resons. In case of Helicopter cancellation, we will refund $350 for the helicopter portion only. Other portions of the tour will continue as scheduled.

Words cannot describe the experience we had today. The helicopter flight over the volcanos - amazing. Best helicopter ride we have ever had. From the moment we booked with Hawaii Tours to arriving home tired and elated from an amazing day our experience with this company has been wonderful. Very professional, kept us informed and in touch every step of the way.

It was an easy flight to the big island and back . We drove up to the center of the volcano and marveled at the great changes in the landscape, going scorched earth to rainforest within two miles. It was disappointing that the helicopter flight had to be cancelled due to weather conditions and the rest of the day was fully booked and to see others fly while we waited for our tour bus (for over an hour) to come and pick us up.
