Assateague Island

This Assateague Island Cruise departs from our location at 118th street in Ocean City, MD. This is one of our most popular trips! Once you board the Bay Hopper, we’ll cruise to the magical and elusive Assateague Island. This island is famous for its wild ponies. After a boat tour of the island we will return to the Bay Hopper location at 118th street. This is a 2.5 hour trip. We'll spend 45 min traveling from 118th street to Assateague. Then we'll spend about 60 min at Assateague. Then the boat will travel back to 118th which will take about 45 min.

We had an amazing morning with Captain Patrick. All the staff are very friendly and we felt welcomed from the moment we arrived until we left. Would definitely do again with friends. The trip to the island was very informative and fun got to drive the boat. At the island we saw a herd of 10 horses on the beach we were very close to them and got great photos. On the way back we toured various inlets along the way plus saw some big boats and places to go back to to visit and eat at. Best value and made my vacation perfect.

The captain was great, funny and super informational. The horses were awesome to see as well! Awesome cruise!
