I knew this was going to be good, because food was involved, but this definitely exceeded my expectations. The food was phenomenal and way more than I expected. The tour was so informative and interesting. Our guide, Timothy, was so knowledgeable, being born and raised in Portland. All the things I learned from the tour has really given me a deep appreciation for Maine. They have so many natural resources, but from what Timothy told us, they don't exploit the land and plunder all those precious resources. They're very intentional in how they harvest the resources and overall, Maine seems to be one of the most financially savvy states in selling their resources. I mean, they were able to create a cult following with their ice back in the day. I didn't intend to leave this tour enamored with Maine's economy, but here I am, hearts in my eyes and New England Clam chowder in my belly.

What a great introduction to Portland. The tour is all seafood which was great and the selections were delicious. The tour guide AJ made it really special and talked me through my first oyster! Also mixed in some Portland history so we can learn about the town and provided dining recommendations at the end. Ask for AJ!

This was a great way to start a trip to Portland. Great food, fun stops and our guide, AJ, was top notch! She so enjoys what she does and it absolutely shows over the course of the tour.
