Olympic National Park Tour z Seattle

Przegląd
Olympic National Park is well known for having several different ecosystems to explore: subalpine forest, wildflower meadows, temperate rain-forest, and the rugged Pacific Shore. This twelve hour tour allows you to sample each of these systems with the added advantage of having an experienced guide to answer any questions that may arise. Come explore tide pools along the coastal beaches, roam among old-growth forest, trek atop mountain ridges with breathtaking vistas and stand by glacier-birthed rivers and lakes. The tour begins on a leisurely ferry boat ride over the Puget Sound to the Olympic Peninsula. The exact itinerary will be curated by the tour guide however our first stop will usually find us at Hurricane Ridge where you will hike to an incredible view of the valley below and the snow-capped mountains in the distance. We will move on to Crescent Lake and the seasonally Sol Duc Valley, and a sandy beach along the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Please plan on walking six miles.

Optional park stop. Fall is most likely time to stop. A very pretty waterfall, old growth forest with with areas exhibiting temperate rain forest. Seasonal Salmon runs too, in autumn. hiking or if you bring your swimsuit you can soak in hot springs.

Dungeness Recreation Area
Optional Stop: If tide or time tables are not conducive to stop at Salt Creek Recreation Area a stop at Dungeness Spit will replace it. Dungeness spit is also a great beach and wildlife sanctuary. Hike and enjoy.

optional stops depending the day, waterfalls, big trees, the largest dam removal and wildlife rehabilitation project in the world.

Washington State Ferries
We go back to Seattle by ferry and after a long day we often see the sunset over the waters. Seeing Seattle loom larger and larger is a great way to end the day. They serve beer and Ivars's clam chowder as well on board.

Kevin was an excellent guide for our all-day tour from Seattle to Olympic National Park. He gave us lots of good information and stories throughout our day. He was organized and knew the best way to provide the most stops and experiences. We had a great day and it was nice to have a small group for our day.

Kevin was an amazing, humorous tour guide who kept us informed and entertained while also offering plenty of quiet time for us to unwind after each breathtaking experience. The tour was lovely.

This was a great trip!! Very glad we were on a small bus with a small group of people. This was a long day, which we knew, but we got to see lots of the ecological features of Olympic park. We only had one day before we set sail on a cruise and this trip was perfect. I think our guide was Joel, he was awesome!! We really apperciated that he went on the hikes with us and pointed out all kinds of interesting facts at each stop. He was really good about keeping us informed about what we would be doing everywhere we stopped, even made sure we stock up on food as there was not alot of food opitions once we started. We feel he really valued our time and made the most of it. Would use them again if we get to go back.
