Jake (easy to remember, just think Jake from State Farm) is the owner of Cocoa Beach Surf School and will do anything to make sure you have a great time and learn to surf. My kids 9, 13 and 15 all had a blast and were riding the waves all the way to the shore. All the instructors were excellent - I wouldn't worry about who you get, they will all get you on the board and having fun. We booked the shade canopy with chairs which was a great place to hang when not in the water. Great experience and will go back for more!

Good tips, kids went from zero to standup during the session and had a great time. They left smiling and wanting to surf more.

I didn't get a chance to do this due to an injury before my trip but a friend of mine did do it and loved it. I hope to do it during another visit. I'm a blogger and will for sure be recommending this place when writing about the area. I will write more in my blog if I ever get the chance to do the lesson. All I can say it, everyone, I spoke to loved it. If you get a chance to take the lessons and try surfing DO IT!!
