This tour departs from Orcas Island. The island can only be reached by the Washington State Ferry System. If your party is not already on island we recommend our Anacortes departure location.

We saw orcas a few minutes into the trip. The guides recognized the pod and told us about their familial structure and showed us how orcas are identified by their dorsal fin and eyebrows. Then we moved on and saw a bald eagle which was great and another larger pod. We hung out with this pod for a long time and people got some spectacular photos. The captain was Matt, and the deckhands, Sam and Sylvia, were full of information about orcas. We are so glad we decided to take this trip.

Perfect excursion for a weekend trip on Orcas Island! Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable and passionate about wildlife. We saw multiples whales and plenty of seals and sea lions. Got so many great photos and videos!

Sophia and Delaney were very informative. Got to see sea lions, the blow of a humpback and a pod of orcas several times. Great crew and day!
