There is no minimum age however all participants must know how to swim
It is recommended that you bring a swimsuit, towel, waterproof camera and wear clothes that can get wet and possibly dirty
To ensure a proper size kayak is available, please provide your individual heights and weights at the time of booking
There is no restroom at the meeting location. There is a public restroom at Valentine Park (1511 W French Ave, Orange City, FL 32763) about a mile before you arrive the meeting location that we recommend you use before your tour.

This is an excellent tour. Unfortunately, we missed the manatees by a couple days. Astrid was a very knowledgeable and wonderful guide. She knew the flora and fauna well. I can’t blame her for the lack of manatees. She found alligators, turtles, frogs, great blue herons, limpkins, etc. I will be returning to this tour next Jan or Feb when the big guys will be here. I will also try to take a kayaking instruction/safety class with Astrid in the near future.

We loved our tour and would recommend it to anyone interested in getting up close and personal with the manatees at Blue Springs State Park. As you may know, this area does not permit swimming with the manatees, so a kayak tour is as close as it gets. We are not expert kayakers and the river was easy to maneuver. Our tour guide, Bill, was extremely knowledgeable, personable and accommodating.
