Captain Ron at Big Wheel Tours led our group on pedal assisted e-bikes out to Andreas Canyon—an amazing oasis with running water and many date palms. We hiked the canyon loop and Ron went into great detail about how the Indians used all the plants. It was fascinating!

Ron was a dedicated and fascinating guide! He gave us a ton of personal attention and did a great job with millions of years in the past up to present day movie tie-ins. His personable nature and descriptions of the geologic time, great places to hike, and the whole valley were great. Ron was well prepared with snacks and waters and made sure we felt safe the whole time. The nature walk was a soft amble but in-depth and stellar with Ron’s knowledge of flora and fauna. We had the e-bikes and they made the ride up the hill as easy and enjoyable as our time with Ron! One of our top Palm Springs experiences!

Jeff was a fantastic guide. My husband and I had an amazing time biking to the canyon and taking the hike. Jeff provided some great information about the area and pointed out things we would’ve missed otherwise. It was worth the upgrade to E bikes and the roadway to the canyon was incredibly smooth and paved. We had a blast.
