Choose between the following options for your day tour from the Salt Lake Area: Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, Capitol Reef National Park, Goblin Valley State Park, or Bryce Canyon National Park. Drive time to each Park from Salt Lake City is approximately 3-4 hours and plan to spend about 5 hours in the Park.

See stunning views on a scenic drive through the National Park and depending on group preference experiences may include: canyon overlooks, the famous Mesa Arch, and a dirt road excursion on Long Canyon.

Goblin Valley State Park

Experience un-earthly rock formations and meander through hoodoos (unique rock formations) and followed by a back country drive through North Temple Wash.

Capitol Reef National Park

Enjoy a scenic ride to the quaint and scenic National Park. Visit canyon overlooks, historic buildings of early life, ancient rock art petryglyphs, canyon walks, arches and more!

Bryce Canyon National Park

Travel from the Salt Lake City area to the scenically wondrous Bryce Canyon in a 4 hour drive each way. Walk the Rim, hike the moderate Queen's Garden 3 mile loop, and marvel at Nature's beauty.

Arches National Park

Guests will ride through scenic National Park and as a group will determine which arches to stop and hike or walk to. Optional landmarks included but not limited to are: Delicate Arch, Landscape Arch, Double Arch, Windows, Balanced Rock and more.

Book your trip of a lifetime with Desert Solitude NOW, don’t think about it, just book it. We just returned from a 3-day custom adventure trip and I am still stoked about it. Our guide Neil was the bomb. He took care of everything so we could just enjoy the adventure. Day 1 was the trip from Salt Lake City to Canyonlands National Park. The trip from Salt Lake City was a few hours, but we hit it off right away with Neil and it was like we had been friends all of our lives. The SUV we traveled in was luxurious and Neil made sure we were comfortable the entire way. Canyonlands National Park was our first Park, where we were treated to a fantastic lunch prepared by Neil. The scenery was amazing, from the canyons to the Mesa Arch, you must see it with your own eyes. Neil is very knowledgeable of the area, he gave us history and geology points during the entire trip. We traveled on to Moab, where Neil had arranged our excellent accommodations. Day 2 was my fave, a desert dirtbike tour where we rented dirtbikes from Ride Moab Industries for the day. Neil was very careful to take us on trails that we were comfortable on, as we had never ridden on those types of desert terrain. We rode 44 miles of trails! After dinner we went to see the sunset at Arches National Park, so gorgeous. We spent all Day 3 in Arches National Park. Our hiking adventure took us to three areas of the park, lots of very challenging trails to see Delicate Arch, then Double Arch, then finally Double O Arch. Again, Neil provided lunch cooked on his grill, and despite the gusting winds, we had a delicious hot meal. We ended the day at Park Avenue, where Neil gave us a surprise to end our tour. Overall, we had a great adventure tour, the trip of a lifetime, thanks to Neil and his expertise and excellence. I can’t recommend him enough, if you want an adventure vacation, call Neil at Desert Solitude, you will not be disappointed.

Amazing tour of Arches National Park! Neil was a great guide! He had a wealth of knowledge of Arches and the general Salt Lake City area as well. He made our trip even more fabulous. He was easy to reach to answer all of my questions prior to my trip via phone and text messaging. He catered the tour to make sure we had an enjoyable time while visiting Arches. He was attentive to our needs and I would recommend this tour to anyone and would do a tour with him again when I am back in this area. We stopped at a great restaurant for dinner on our way back to Salt Lake City and he even turned the car around and stopped to let use view a herd of Elk on the side of the road! Great tour and guide! If you plan to visit Arches go with Dessert Solitude for the most memorable experience.
