Set aboard an authentically replicated 18th-century Spanish galleon that is anchored in an indoor lagoon with night sky lighting. We booked our tickets through Florida Tix, which stated soft drinks included. After a unprofessional discussion with a owner/ manager, he reluctantly agreed to “take the charge off my card” I stated that I had paid for drinks and parking when I got there using cash, and as I had booked the venue tickets through a third party I didn’t think the venue had my card details. He said it would be fine it will come off my card. I never got the money back, which was only around 20 dollars but I knew the manager/ owner was just trying to pull a fast one. He should have just returned the cash I had just paid for the drinks before reviewing my tickets. The gift shop and bar are overpriced. The show was poor, the kids enjoyed the bit that they got involved but couldn’t understand what they were saying for the rest of it. There was only about 1/2 tables in each area/ colour. Venue looked like it can hold 300 people but only around 30 guests there. We didn’t enjoy the food, the chicken was dry, the desert was tiny. Being in Orlando we expected a lot better for what we paid. We watched a fantastic show in Magaluf a few years ago so we know pirate shows can be great. This felt like a venue that is failing/ going downhill. I rarely warn people off going somewhere but this is one of those places.

Took our schools here on a field trip. They absolutely loved it. Everyone at Pirates are very hands on and super friendly. We really enjoyed this field trip.

The show in itself was quite good, but everything else was not impressive. So many things, so I will just name a few selct ones: Our waiter forgot to give us utensils for dessert, so when he wanted to remove the plates, we hadet enten anything, and that clearly annoyed him. He forgot to take out our plates after the starter salat, and was again very irritable, when he served the main course and had to remove the plates from our starter. The show was interrupted midway by a staff wanting to sell us pictures, which meant we missed that bit of the show. And many more smalle things adding up to us not recommending the show. Choose something else - there are plenty of great dinner shows in Orlando.
