Great trip! Loved the friendliness of the crew. Beautiful area, got to see lots of manatees, ducks, and osprey. Parking is easy and it is very easy to get to the dock and into the boat. Suitable for people who require some assistance.

Fun trip! The guide and driver were very knowledgable and fun to tour with. Excellent staff. I can't say enough about how much they aimed to have us see as many things as we possibly could. We saw lots of interesting birds, some manatees, and learned a lot about the area, the refuge, the homes. We probably saw about 10 manatees, all in the somewhat murky water and hard to see. Two popped their heads out. After, we went over to Homosassa Springs and saw manatees close up in crystal clear water. But both trips were worthwhile because we learned so much from the Plantation River guide and the boat ride was fun. I recommend combining this boat tour either with a trip to homosassa or a kayak or dive with the manatees for the full experience.

The captains were great. It rained and was to cold for me to enjoy. We were given the chance to rescheduled but decided to stay which was not a wise choice on our part. The captains did they best to keep us entertained but we were to cold and wet to really enjoy. We will return another day when there is no rain and cold involved. For the cost of the trip, it was still worth it..we were just whiny by that point. I will return!
