Polinezyjski kajakowy żagiel o zachodzie słońca

Przegląd
Kamoauli is a locally owned, all-wood, double-hulled, traditional Polynesian canoe (wa’a kaulua) offering a one-of-a-kind native Hawaiian cultural and educational experience. Come sail along the beautiful Waikiki coastline and become immersed in the stories and history of place (Mo‘olelo) reflected through the land (ʻāina) and ocean (moana) aboard a classroom on the sea. Our cultural practitioner and crew involve guests in hands on activities, using native materials to make food, clothing, tools, and other traditional items. Ask questions, explore the deck, nets and hulls, take part in poi (taro) pounding or just relax and enjoy. 'Ukulele music and traditional chants ('oli) with locally-sourced traditional food and drinks are all part of this unique experience.

Incredible trip on a gorgeous wooden catamaran built in Tonga. Only 6 passengers at a time, so it's really intimate, personal experience on the water. The 2+ hour trip was spectacular, included live traditional music, meaningful connections, and storytelling with local native Hawaiian hosts. Plus we learned a thing or two about native Hawaiian history. We brought our older (70+) in-laws and they loved every single second, and felt comfortable and well taken care of. The captain, crew, and practitioners made us feel like family. Children would also get a big kick out of this trip, including a chance to pound your own poi and try different traditional pupus. The hosts provide lots of food to try including poke, smoked fish, and more. No booze, no smoking, so this is not your typical loud drunken cruise. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but this trip is a different, unique experience that no one should miss. What's better than a peaceful sail between the sun setting and the moon rising over Diamond Head, and hearing stories about the centuries of Hawaiian history before the Haoles showed up, then sailing home? Would recommend to EVERYONE!
