I am an avid traveler and I have been on many tours. Bob is by far the best and most accommodating tour guide I have ever encountered. From the moment we booked until the moment we were dropped off at our hotel, Bob was an absolute pleasure to work with. He knew all the best times to be at all of the best spots and I have pictures from this tour that are unbelievable. Bob helped everyone frame the best shots and took gorgeous photos of us in this incredible environment. I cannot recommend this tour or this company enough. If you are in Anchorage, DO NOT MISS!

I am in the tourism business so am hard to please and I LOVED Bob's tour. He was personable, great commentator, kept you entertained and was incredibly knowledgeable. The frosting on top was the simple but very useful beginner photography techniques that he taught throughout the tour. Without Bob, I would not have appreciated the beauty of Anchorage and its surrounding area because I would have lacked the stories and history behind the beautiful landscapes. I would without hesitation recommend Bob's tours for anyone visiting Anchorage. It was easily the highlight of my trip.

Overall, this tour exceeded my expectations! We received a call the night before our tour - Bob informed us that some of the animals on our tour would be more likely to be seen if we left a little earlier than the planned time! Sure enough, we arrived in time to see animals stirring from winter sleep, had we been even 15 minutes later, we would have completely missed some of them! Bob went above and beyond to help us capture that special moment while we were in Alaska. All along the tour we received insider knowledge only someone not only a local, but someone in tune with the region and with nature. He not only showed us animals, glaciers, and glacial springs, but also provided tips to improve our photography. We'll be recommending Pic Tours to anyone who'll be visiting Anchorage, and we'll be calling again when we return to Anchorage in the future.
