My daughter and I had planned on visiting the Grand Canyon on a motor trip of the US. After reading up on the great variety of viewpoints and historical locations inside the Grand Canyon National Park I decided that taking a guided tour with a professional guide would be the way to go. We stopped at the National Geographic Visitor Center in Tusayan. This location is on the main road a few miles before you get to the park entrance. As part of the tour price we received Grand Canyon IMAX film tickets. We met Keith, our guide and driver outside, got a really good start off invitation as well as maps and the offer of snacks and water. Going into the park was a breeze. Keith obviously loved his work and was extremely knowledgeable about all kinds of facts and trivia. He also knew many of the "Kodak Moment" areas for us to stop at. The tour went by really fast and my 13 year old was absolutely fascinated by the colors and scope of the area. After we visited the park hotels and small structures with him, we continued on our tour of the "village" . We finally returned back to the IMAX visitor center and spent a little over 1/2 hour in the theatre. The film is spectacular and well worth the time and expense. Overall, this was a fantastic day that might not have been as successful if I had tried doing on my own. I have no idea about the other tour operators, but I cannot imagine them reaching the same level of professionalism. I will recommend Pink Jeep Tours to everyone I come in contact with who will be going to the Grand Canyon.

Took the 2 hour Grand Entrance tour of the Grand Canyon. The pickup spot is at the National Geographic Visitor Center in Tusayan. This is before you get to the park entrance. With the tour, we received Grand Canyon IMAX tickets. The IMAX Theater is also located at the visitor center. The movie was pretty cool. Our tour guide, Keith, was very knowledgeable about the area and I learned a lot of facts. We stopped at several viewpoints and great picture spots. He showed us some good picture shoots at our last stop. So funny! Looks like I'm falling off the cliff:) One thing I didn't know is that we could have driven to these spots. I was under the impression that you had to park and take shuttles inside the park. Oh well, I would have not known how to get to these spots, and I would not have learned all the interesting facts. I would recommend this tour!

Host Frank good and nice and efficient. The tour in addition to being expensive is useless because it goes to some stops on the Rim making the way that all cars can do. So unless you came on foot, which is unlikely, it does exactly what a shuttle does but at exorbitant prices.
