Przegląd
Join us for Whale Watching in our cool Alaskan waters and then view one of 38 glaciers from the Juneau Ice Fields - the spectacular Mendenhall Glacier. We guide you on a 2 hour whale watching tour, spotting Humpback whales and other wildlife. Then off to the Mendenhall Glacier to spend some time hiking, watching fish spawn at Steep Creek or enjoy an outstanding view from the Visitor Center. You get 1.5 hours at the park, but don't worry! That is the perfect amount of time to walk to nugget falls and take in the displays at the visitor center.

  • Tour time is a check-in time; departure is within 15 to 30 minutes.
  • The meeting place is under the cables in front of the Mt. Roberts Tramway.
  • All ports or docks are within 10 minutes walking distances, except one - the A Dock - which provides a “Downtown” shuttle to the Mt. Roberts Tramway.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult
  • At time of booking, cruise ship passengers must provide the name of their ship
  • A moderate amount of walking is involved.
  • No food is allowed at the Mendenhall Glacier.
  • Tour operates in all weather conditions, so please dress appropriately in layers and for the likely chance of rain. It is recommended that you wear warm layered clothing, a waterproof jacket and comfortable slip-proof shoes

Jaydon, Miranda and Captain Ed did everything they could to make this experience one to remember. The whales were plentiful and so exciting! The eagles were also plentiful and beautiful. After the whale boat experience we went to Mendenhall glacier where you have plenty of time to explore as much as you want. Unlike the Princess Ship tour we took last time that gave us just a few minutes because they were running behind. Amazing day and photos!! Would take this again if we ever get back to Alaska. Go early!

We had a great experience with Captain Josh and naturalists Jayden and Jesse. They took the time to make sure we got the best views of the humpbacks. We got amazing photos! They provide a little snack on the 2+ hour whale watching boat ride and are happy to give more if you ask. We are headed now to the Mendenhall glacier.

My wife and I had a magnificent time on this tour. Especially the whale watch! Captain Dan did a great job topside in finding a group of 6 to 7 humpbacks whales and positioning the boat so the whales were coming towards us and providing magnificent photo opportunities. We made great use of the photo ops provided and will go home with wonderful photos of these magnificent creatures. On deck as guides were Jayden and Sam who were happy to provide us with information about the whales and answering numerous questions. If you do nothing else while in port in Juneau do this tour! We highly recommend it! Ron & Rose
