Przegląd
Join us for Whale Watching in our cool Alaskan waters and then view one of 38 glaciers from the Juneau Ice Fields - the spectacular Mendenhall Glacier. We guide you on a 2 hour whale watching tour, spotting Humpback whales and other wildlife. Then off to the Mendenhall Glacier to spend some time hiking, watching fish spawn at Steep Creek or enjoy an outstanding view from the Visitor Center. You get 1.5 hours at the park, but don't worry! That is the perfect amount of time to walk to nugget falls and take in the displays at the visitor center.

  • Tour time is a check-in time; departure is within 15 to 30 minutes.
  • The meeting place is under the cables in front of the Mt. Roberts Tramway.
  • All ports or docks are within 10 minutes walking distances, except one - the A Dock - which provides a “Downtown” shuttle to the Mt. Roberts Tramway.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult
  • At time of booking, cruise ship passengers must provide the name of their ship
  • A moderate amount of walking is involved.
  • No food is allowed at the Mendenhall Glacier.
  • Tour operates in all weather conditions, so please dress appropriately in layers and for the likely chance of rain. It is recommended that you wear warm layered clothing, a waterproof jacket and comfortable slip-proof shoes

This was a fantastic trip and Captain Ken along with Russell and Jamie really wanted to make sure you saw whales and they even seemed as excited to experience them as we were. The equipment was top notch from the busses to the boat was all newer and clean. I’d give this one a must do rating!!

We got picked up at the pier on time. However, we waited an hour before we boarded the boat to go out. Then Captain Marina decides we are going to stay out for extra time. We were only at the glaciers for about 10 minutes. We had reservations for dinner, which was paid for, so we were only able to stay for about 15 minutes at the glaciers. Yes they provided another bus but not until 7:15. We were at the bus stop at 6:40 as we were told to. However, we didn’t leave until 6:52. Your motto should be if you are late we will leave you. Of course we were about 15-20 minutes late for dinner. Pretty bad you guys can’t keep a simple schedule. We waited on 4 people who were late for the 6:40 pick up got there at 6:52. Ik is hard to recommend a company when you can’t keep a schedule when you have to if you are on a cruise. I really wish I would have booked thru the cruise instead of doing independently. LESSON LEARNED!!
