We were a group of 10 (6 adults & 4 kids) and this was the perfect way for our family to experience the Southern Black Hills together. Melina was great to work with before we even got there. She gave us options of what would be fun for all & where the kids could stretch their legs & not get tired on the bus. Kevin picked us up at our VRBO & had plenty of snacks & drinks. (We did pack a cooler with adults drinks) He was very knowledgeable & kept us all entertained on the drive. He was so nice & was willing to take the MANY family photos I asked from him :) Highlights were Mt. Rushmore, Sylvan Lake (kids wanted to climb on the huge rocks by the lake) & seeing the large herd of buffalo in Custer State Park. I heard the laser show at Crazy Horse would be fun, and so they helped plan around that & Kevin even brought us chairs to sit & watch it. (but the laser show was lame & I would NOT recommend adjusting your tour around that, and this was NOT their fault. This was something we asked for & they accommodated it ) The bus was very comfortable & I loved our VIP drop offs at all the monuments.

We had a wonderful private tour with Melina of Black Hills Tour Company on July 3, 2020 and it was a beautiful day weather wise too. We had the opportunity to see wildlife including bison, prairie dogs, mountain goats, elk, deer, prong horn and all the attractions throughout the park. We also go to visit Crazy Horse Memorial. Melina is very knowledgeable about the area and made it a delightful day. Oh, also, the lunch that was provided was delicious and beautifully presented too! She made great recommendations for our in town dining as well. Thanks Melina!!
