Prince William Sound Tour z Glacier Landing z Girdwood

Enjoy aerial views of blue ice-fields and hanging glaciers as you glide past the rugged peaks of the Chugach mountians. During your tour, your pilot will land on a glacier and you will have the once-in-a-lifetime chance to step out and explore the ancient ice. This 90-minute tour includes an extended return flight over the majestic waters of Prince William Sound, where you'll see a spectacular 400-foot-tall tide-water glacier and look for seals and otters in the blue fjords. Don't forget your camera - this trip is a photographer's dream. If you have a group larger than three guests, please contact Alpine Air to book.

This is an absolute MUST DO. Having been all over the world, this by far was the most breathtaking scenery I have ever seen. The staff was extremely friendly and very detail oriented. Being an airline pilot, I was very observant of their safety and was thoroughly impressed with their quality of equipment, being safety minded, and cleanliness of their equipment and safety oriented pilot. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to this once in a lifetime experience.

The trip was great even with the smoke in the air. The pilot was informative and made sure we noticed the wild animals. We did the glacier landing and it was worth it! We could see more from this view than you can from the road!

As an Alaskan resident, I'd never considered taking a flightseeing tour but wanted to do something special to surprise my significant other. I've had the opportunity to travel to the Sahara desert and mountains of Vietnam, but this experience truly rivals both. The staff were very kind and helpful. The helicopters are small, which increases the sensation of being close to the scenery. I was a little concerned about motion sickness, but the ride was very smooth. The helicopter soared over the treetops and mountains, allowing us to marvel at the scenery. We saw so many incredible glaciers and enjoyed the opportunity to walk on one when the helicopter landed. When the helicopter crested a mountain ridge, we were gifted a breathtaking glimpse of Prince William Sound. When the ride was over, our spirits were still elated for quite a while. I was happy with the length of the tour that we chose (Prince William Sound Tour) and felt that it was just the right amount of time. Thanks to Alpine Air for giving us an experience of a lifetime.
