We were running late due to lost bag so was not meat in arrival lounge so had to call and it was confusing at pick up as car wasn't clearly marked with same company name on my booking, we were giving a car number but there are so many different pick up companies and we hadn't done it before and had been travelling for 30 hrs so it was confronting and confusing. Finally worked it out with the driver and he was great. Lovely trip. Fantastic driver. Car was clean and fresh. Very happy :

The wait at the airport for the car to arrive was longer than I anticipated. The driver was fine but not very talkative.

This whole trip was arranged as a surprise for my wife's 50th birthday. She had always wanted to go to New York and has always wanted to be collected at an airport, normally I drive. The pick up was excellent. Lovely lady who told us all about the features and sites of New York, coming back was completely the opposite. The chap who collected us said about 4 words for an hours journey until he tried it on to get the fare again plus the toll charge he had to pay, which the lady did not ask us for, plus his tip! He asked us for 52 dollars plus toll plus tip! Upon being challenged and being shown and told I had a voucher and I had paid for a return trip he changed his tune and said it was just the toll and his tip I HAD to pay. I did feel like telling him where exactly to stick his tip but we had such a fantastic holiday I refrained! I would book this again if I ever went back to America as both cars were clean and tidy and both were bang on time. Had the lady come to collect us I would have given the trip 6 stars but as she didn't I'm more than happy to give her 5 stars.
