Sit back and relax in an open air pedicab as you ride though east Austin stopping at 3 award winning micro-breweries. Each brewery offers beer flights or just order a pint. Our stops include Lazarus Brewing, Hops and Grain and finishes at Zilker Brewing. The breweries also offer food options where you can grab a bite to eat. This is a private tour and customizable to your group.

Okay so this tour was not horrible, but our tour guide unfortunately was. Starting off, he was friendly and accommodating. I was excited to have him as a tour guide. He was really flamboyant and definitely capitalized on the whole southern hospitality getup. Once we reached Lazarus, our tour guide began over sharing everything about his personal life. He started off bragging that he has made over $500,000 from investing in stocks. He started investing to impress the mother of a girl who he is trying to marry. He also stated that he is 18 years her senior. Then he proceeded to show us photos of said girl even when I suggested that he should not to protect her privacy since we are literally strangers. He has an extremely narrow view on women making him come off as sexist. I don’t think he was trying to be malicious in any way but he is unfortunately very misinformed. The tour was just completely derailed by our tour guides need for attention and I could probably write a biography on the guy with all the personal information he shared with us. He also said a bunch of other random stuff that sounded like complete gobbledegook. I learned more about our tour guide and his insane stories then the breweries in Austin. The guy never left us alone either. It was incredibly uncomfortable. I will leave some constructive criticism, he is one hell of a story teller but he needs to stick to the script! The script being everything I’d like to know about Austin breweries!

We ordered a tour… we got a pedicab ride to three breweries and almost zero conversation from our tour guide. We didn’t learn anything about the breweries, the beer they served, the community, or Austin in general. Our tour guide said you have 30 minutes as she dropped us off and left us to figure it out. Half the time the brewery staff had no idea what she was talking about as far as ordering our “flights” that I had to step in and say what we were doing. We could have walked/drove the route and had more fun. The pricing is good for you three flights total, but the experience was just kinda boring and felt rushed and unsupported.

I'm sorry to hear you didn't have a good experience. Our tour guides are trained to help you select fights at each brewery and very knowledgeable about the various options and the breweries history.
