On this full-day private Bardstown KY, bourbon distillery tour, you will visit three separate distillery operations. On these stops, you'll learn information about making bourbon, while learning the history of some iconic brands.

For this tour, please select (5-6) distilleries from the list ranked in order of importance. From there, we will coordinate with you and book (3) distillery tours with tastings for your group. These will booked based on availability, scheduling, and your ranking and your approval.

Willett Distilling Company

A medium-sized, family-owned distillery. This Willett Distillery Tour maintains a craft feel, while producing an impressive volume of quality bourbon. From shelvers to luxury bottles, this distillery offers something for everyone. Here you will do a full production tour and tasting. - Optional

Lux Row Distillers

Quietly becoming one of the top bourbon producers in the state, the Lux Row Distillery Tour offers an impressive lineup on products in a carefully-crafted, modern setting. Here you will enjoy a tour, flight, or cocktail depending on our itinerary. - Optional

Four Roses Bourbon - Warehouse and Bottling Facility

This Four Roses facility is the smaller of the 2 on the bourbon trail. At this Four Roses Distillery Tour, you will find a unique warehouse and tasting experience, which is great for a warm-up or quick stop. This location is a great stop for any Four Roses fans. - Optional

Heaven Hill Bourbon Experience

Heaven Hill is one of the top 5 producers of bourbon, and home to majors brands like Elijah Craig, Larceny, and more. The Heaven Hill Distillery Tour offers a number of unique experiences in a modern setting. Here you will experience an interactive "bourbon-museum" on a self-guided tour followed by a tasting. - Optional

Limestone Branch Distillery

A smaller distillery operation that provides a homely experience alongside their great whiskies. The Limestone Branch Distillery Tour is a great stop for lovers of small operations where you receive more attention and appreciation for your time. This distillery is on the way to Maker's Mark and is a great warmup for the larger tour to come. Here you will do a production tour and tasting. - Optional

Preservation Distillery

A micro-distillery and farming operation that produces only a handful of barrels per day. This distillery is a woman-owned distillery that offers some fantastic whiskeys and provides an easy-to-understand "under one roof" type of operation. This distillery has a lot of charm and great for anyone who has been curious about the "Very Old Saint Nick" products. Here you will do a production tour and tasting. - Optional

Maker's Mark

Maker's Mark is on the bucket list for most bourbon tourists. The Maker's Mark Distillery Tour offers a number of post-card quality buildings with a great backstory and quality products. Here you will do a full distillery tour and tasting. - Optional

Log Still Distillery

A smaller, family-owned distillery with a great deal of history and contribution to the region. This newly resurrected distillery pays homage to its families history on an absolutely gorgeous campus. Here you will do a guided tour and tasting. - Optional

We arrived in Bardstown on a Sunday on the way to Lexington and the distillery tours were closed on Sunday. We did have a very interesting tour of My Old Kentucky Home.

Hi Nick, We are fairly certain that you have mistaken our company for another business. We have not taken any groups to my old Kentucky home since opening. We also do not offer service from Bardstown to Frankfort, and we would always let a customer know if a distillery is closed on Sunday. We also did not have a Nick on tour in May. Please reconsider your review. Even at 3-stars, negative reviews are quite harmful to a small business that relies on real and positive reviews from our past clients. Thank you.

I'm a travel agent and had a last minute request for a bourbon tour the Saturday before Kentucky Derby! I booked the experience on Viator and as soon as I booked Unfiltered Kentucky Tours immediately reached out to me letting me know about the limited availability and what our options were. The day spent on the Bourbon trail with our buddies was fantastic. Chuck did a great job keeping us to schedule and making sure we were experiencing all that we could at these great places. You play your cards right, Chuck may even grab a drink with you late night. Great tour Chuck. Thanks man!!
