Driver turned up 40 minutes early, demanding he take us to airport as the LA traffic was worse than usual. During the frightening, hair raising trip we were told he was 74yrs old, the cost of living was dreadful, he could not afford to live, he was retired professor or lawyer, his son and daughter in law were rolling in money and that every other driver on the road was crazy. He managed to stall his AUTOMATIC car, cut in and out, hooted, drove with sat nav open on his phone in his lap. audio sat nav on - which he could not follow and then claimed kept changing its mind. He cut thru a gas station to save waiting for three cars at a left turn, cut people up, drove aggressively and constantly honked other drivers. I am seriously concerned this man has some neurological degenerative condition. He took calls to collect another fare after dropping us off, did not know the terminal we were going to, had no idea of the way to the airport and eventually double parked to drop us off after swearing at all other drivers. He then demanded a tip saying 'It's a kinda rule that you tip me'. We did not and luckily he was so desperate to collect his next fare he contented himself with shouting and driving off. I will NEVER use this service again, and I hope this driver gets the help he needs to either get of the road or learn to drive properly. I would appreciate you contacting me as both my husband and myself hold serious concerns about his capabilities to drive. I don't frighten easily, and my husband not at all, but we held very grave concerns for our safety.
