Though becoming more popular, these places are more safely & easily accessible with a knowledgeable guide and a capable, comfortable off road luxury vehicle. We have spent over a decade exploring and photographing these rather exclusive places and can get you there whether for those epic photos or just a sightseeing experience rivaled by few places on Earth. Come with us and see the place where all those cool car and SUV ads are filmed as well as all the stunning surreal landscapes that abound on this one-a-kind adventure. Factory Butte

The Factory Butte area is about as close to a lunar landscape as we think you can get on Earth! The area is full of amazing geologic features, vast expanses of badlands, and some of the most beautiful terrain imaginable. This region has become even more requested than the formerly typical popular backcountry routes and offers the same experience of solitude, awe, and complete immersion in natural beauty without much of the crowds common in those places. This route has a unique beauty as well as place in our hearts and is a must-see and a photographer's paradise.

Here’s a chance to visit what USED TO BE little-visited places by a very knowledgeable tour guide at a decent price. We’re glad that we did this and would use Meridian again and this tour guide (Mel?) with NO HESITATION. 5 stars.

This was a great experience with Mel of Meridian Tours! Mel was steeped in the geology of the area and shared fun anecdotes about the area and life there. The views were fabulous! Especially of Moonscape! The weather was a little off for photos of Factory Butte, but Mel was very accommodating in stopping when the lighting and positioning around the Butte was optimal! Highly recommend this tour!!

Knowledgeable, friendly guide. The AMAZING views! Most definitely would recommend visiting this area and using Meridian.
