We took a girls trip to Oahu and one of the highlights was definitely surf lessons with Mike. We were in our own group of three women and got at least 10-15 waves each. Mike gave us feedback after each wave so that we would continue to improve on each try. We really felt like he wanted us to have fun and be as successful as we could being surf novices. Mike gave us great dryland instruction prior to entering the water, I could tell he was honing in our technique so that we would have our best chance of standing on the surf board as much as possible. We felt safe throughout the lesson, he kept his eye out on all three of us to make sure we were all safe and moving along in the right direction. On our next family vacation, I would definitely trust Mike to do surf lessons with my sons.

Responsive and helpful while scheduling the lesson. Mike taught my girls, ages 11 and 14, to surf during a two hour lesson. His instructions were clear and quick with the right amount of emphasis on what to do and what not to do. Both my daughters said he was super nice and supportive while they were out in the water. Such a great experience. Highly recommend! Note: We were staying in Waikiki, but drive up to the north shore for the lesson. It was a beautiful drive and a great excuse to see another part of the island.

My 9 year old son Ronan and I joined Mike in the North Shore on our last day on Oahu. Fantastic experience and Mike practiced patience with varying levels of skill between us. Deep knowledge of the area and a positive attitude always. Cannot wait to return. I would encourage anyone to seek Mike out. Thank you for a beautiful day on the water. We are glad to have found you.
