Oahu has many amazing spots to learn how to surf. The world-famous North Shore is probably one of the best spots in Hawaii to learn how to catch your first wave. We offer a unique surfing experience suitable for first-time wave sliders.

Our professional surf instructors will explain the fundamentals of surfing, reading the surf zone, surfing etiquette, timing, and catching the wave, as well as the transition from paddling to standing.

We will fine-tune your lesson to meet your specific needs. To make it even easier for first-timers, a push from your instructor will help you catch your first Hawaiian wave!

5 teenagers who have barely been in the ocean. They LOVED it. When they came back to shore they were giggling and telling stories about the waves the caught. Thanks again. We will be back.

Doug and James were both wonderful. I went out for a lesson with my 6 year old daughter hoping she would enjoy it enough to continue learning at home. What better place for her first time out then the North Shore of Oahu? She went on their boards with them and stood up several times. She can swim but doesn’t have a ton of experience in the ocean or doing something so strenuous. Every time she fell off they scooped her up and went back out. She had a ton of fun and wanted to a stay out for the two hours. She’s been asking to go back ever since. James even rescued my go pro from the bottom of the ocean! Thanks again guys!

SURFS UP DUDE! James was such an awesome instructor! He quickly taught us the basics and we quickly went into the water. But don't worry it's better to learn in the water than on land! James was super supportive and helpful! He brought great energy to our lesson and we really felt like he did a good job introducing us to the etiquette of surfing! Make sure to book two hours. It's definitely worth spending more time out there! You will definitely be catching waves. You will be tired but the memories will be priceless. I will definitely be back for more!
