Prywatna wycieczka do basenów Jungle Tide

Przegląd
This tide pool is a local secret. It's off the beaten path. A miracle of nature. We'll use a jungle/lava rock coastal trail. Each way takes 30-40 min (1/2 mile) (10 minutes in jungle, 20-30 minutes on coast). Only your group will participate. I'll teach you about the pool's ecosystem and the local environment. You'll also have time to explore/relax privately.

- Elevation gain on the hike offers amazing coastal views. Sea turtles are a common sight in the distance.
- The pool is like an infinity pool overlooking cliffs. The water is crystal clear. It's highly likely you'll be alone because this spot is so unknown.
- The pool is like an an aquarium with fish, hermit crabs, rock crabs, sea cucumbers, shrimp, snails, spaghetti worms, pink coralline algae, seaweed, shells, & cool rocks.
- Waves strike cliffs and shoot water in the air like a blowhole (conditions permitting). A once-in-a-lifetime photo opportunity.
- The pool is calm/safe with a deep (4-7 ft.) & shallow (1-4 ft.) area.

Dodatkowe informacje
  • Service animals allowed
  • Public transportation options are available nearby
  • Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
  • Wear hiking shoes, hiking sandals, or athletic shoes for the hike. Hiking shoes are most ideal. If you wear sandals, closed-toe are most ideal.
  • Wear water shoes at the tide pool. Closed-toe shoes with durable soles are most ideal.
  • Wear a bathing suit and bring a towel. There are no bathrooms at the tide pool.
  • Many people bring a snorkeling mask or goggles.
  • Apply "reef safe" sunscreen before the hike to minimize its contact with the tide pool water. Bug spray is unnecessary because there are no ticks and very few bugs or mosquitoes.
  • Some people bring a first aid kit because I don't provide one.

Epic hike to secluded tide pools. Felt magical walking through the jungle and then the hike continues on the coast. A bit rocky and may be difficult for people that aren’t experienced with hiking. Saw some wild boars and learned about some of the vegetation. Overall a very unique hike and a lot of natural beauty. Would highly recommend for people looking for hidden gems.

This experience was one of the highlights of our Hawaiian experience. We felt like we were getting to see something that no one had ever seen before. The trail is hidden but well traveled by Josh, our guide. The jungle parts were super cool and the lava rock hike had spectacular views. Make sure you bring good hiking shoes and separate water shoes for the tide pools. Josh has lots of knowledge about the area so don’t be afraid to ask questions. You’ll get the most out of your experience like we did! We forgot our snorkel masks in a different bag and we so wished we would have brought them! It would have been even cooler so make sure you bring those! We did this hike with our 2 kids (11 and 8) and they felt like adventurers exploring in new exciting places!

The trip was amazing. A little hike through forest and lava rocks to get to a remote private pool that words can not describe. So amazing
