I wanted a climbing company to work with my 3 grandchildren who are very interested in rock climbing. I found Front Range Climbing Company. I liked them because I talked to a very friendly and informative person when I first called to find out about the climbing instruction. Also, this company has all the permits needed to climb in the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. I thought the rates were very reasonable. It was $60 per child for a 2 hour lesson. Communication with the company prior to the day of climbing was very good and all details were taken care of which included all the climbing equipment necessary for the lesson. My grandchildren were delighted with the experience and I was able to stay and watch the whole experience. The instructor, Dolan, was excellent. He was very patient with the children and a great instructor. The children were able to climb a rock face and a very large and tall rock. They all accomplished both climbs and were ecstatic they were successful. I can highly recommend this company.

My husband climbed with Patrick at Garden of the Gods. He was able to do six climbs on three different rock faces, repelling down afterwards. Patrick was excellent - friendly, safe, encouraging, and knowledgeable. My husband had the best time and is already thinking about another climbing/hiking trip to Colorado Springs. He would certainly reach out to Patrick again.

Daniel was an exceptional guide! My 11 year old son, my brother-n-law and I all decided last minute to climb when we were at the Garden of the Gods visitor center. Honestly, I didn't know what I was getting myself into! It was such a fantastic experience. Dan was knowledgeable about climbing as well as history of the area and Garden of the Gods. I felt completely safe with him and letting my 11 year old scale those gorgeous rocks! He was supportive and got me through our 4th climb when I just didn't think I could go any further. Without being pushy he encouraged me and I am so glad that he pushed me on to the top...it was definitely worth the gorgeous view! He interacted with me, my son and my brother in law perfectly! We did a 1/2 day, which I would highly recommend. Next time we are will climb with Dan and make it a longer day! I would highly recommend Front Range Climbing, the process was easy from beginning to end. But, Dan totally made the experience exceptional!
