Our Private Scottsdale Off-Road Jeep Tour is a bumpy guide-led adventure on the most scenic Sonoran desert trails in the Scottsdale area. You will enjoy spectacular sights as your professional tour guide teaches you about Sonoran desert flora, fauna, and Native American history. Since our permitted trails are connected to North Scottsdale, you will receive more trail time than any other off-road tour in the Scottsdale area.

Private tour vehicles: Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (6 seats) with forward-facing seating, Jeep YJ (7 seats), or Jeep Gladiator (14 seats) with vertical-row (sideways) seating.

Scottsdale Adventure Tours is a commercial special recreation permit-holder through the U.S. Department of Agriculture: Cave Creek Ranger District and the U.S. Department of the Interior: Bureau of Land Management.

  • Must be physically able to climb in and out of a lifted Jeep Wrangler.
  • Not recommended for passengers with any condition that could be aggravated by a rough, bumpy, and jarring off-road Jeep tour.

We enjoyed our jeep tour so much! Our driver, Ed was informative and entertaining. He kept the "thrills" to a minimum, knowing he had the two of us 70 year olds in his vehicle! We learned so much about desert life, indigenous peoples and various cactus. Cam, Dillon and Steve, the other guides, also enhanced the trip! When we left some important notes in the jeep we received a picture by text of the said notes, which saved the day!

Typically I am not a "review" person, but I wanted to take a moment to recognize both Ed and Grace for providing one of the best off road experiences that I have ever had. A bit of background first, I am an avid outdoor enthusiast, and have been fortunate enough to have completed my own badge of honor trail (Peter's Mill) in my own wrangler ✌️, and off roading through Green Ridge State Forest. So there is some history / background in the off roading world. During the trip that we went on with Ed and Grace, both of them firstly were amazing pilots of their rigs, it's clear they knew their machines very well, which provided for a thrilling experience (one even leaving the jeep nearly half tilted over a cliff edge)! During the tour both Ed and Grace were also giving very interesting facts about local wildlife and plants, they even went as far as to provide samples of some cactus fruits, and herbal sprays they made themselves from the very plants we were seeing. Because Ed and Grace went so far out of their way to make our trip so memorable, I wanted to ensure that I took the time to give a review of them both! Thank you for the experience, it was the highlight of my trip to Scottsdale!

Grace was EPIC!!! She sprayed us with mud, she informed us about cactus, and The HERITAGE of the area! She was the BEST! She gave us everlasting memories!!!
