This tour is amazing! Sammy has a wonderful bubbly personality and makes the entire experience so fun! I am difficult to shop for but Sammy customized our tour according to my preferences. She knows so much about fashion and was able to recommend looks, styles, colors that suit me. The shopping district in NYC is overwhelming with so many stores, having a guide makes it much easier to focus. You won't regret having Sammy be your shopping sherpa!

I found out about Sam from a friend in Sydney and when I was in New York went on her tour. I work in media and tech and am conscious of how much fashion gets produced and ends up in landfill. Personal shopping allows one to tell an expert - in this case the bubbly and clever Sam - what they like and ask what pieces would work for their body shape. Sam was able to help me find for an Australian summer two lovely summer day to evening dresses, that suit my hourglass figure, a new blazer for work and a cute little denim skirt. I didn’t get the cow girl boots but they are on my list for next time i’m in the states. Take Sam’s tour and you won’t be disappointed. You may even donate the small amount of outfits you bought with you, just to fit the new ones in your suit case and be able to carry them yourself as your travel across the states, as I did.

The experience was nothing short of spectacular. Sammy is not only knowledgeable when it comes to thrifting but she is a genuinely sweet person. She took us around to several cool places that resulted in some really great finds! The tour is well organized and she’s extremely attentive. We were absolutely thrilled to have stumbled upon her tour and would highly recommend it to anyone that is interested in thrifting in the Big Apple.
