I read their information on line and it reads of a tour that vist’s 35 different sight seeing locations in Houston We get picked up at appointed time…and the first thing we see is a Mural….OK, then we see another mural…then another and another….. then a bunch of graffiti posing as murals…. Im wondering when we are going to see some of the 35 different locations advertised…. little did i know I was on a mural tour….. I said something to driver (the owner of Joyride) and he says he thought I said something about Murals….. hell I didn’t know anything about murals in Houston, so I know I did not say anything of the sorts… Ive lived in Houston since 1953 and thought Id see something new..since they spoke of the 35 sight seeing stops….. didn’t know 3 different tours were offered until the end when he hands me a card that describes the different tours……$110 and ONE hour of my time wasted for sure. In relooking at their web site, mural tour is NOT even mentioned ….again reads of the 35 different stops for sight seeing. have you ever felt like you were cheated….and couldn’t do anything….my only recourse is to write this review… I will look elsewhere for a tour of the city..plenty of alternative offered

My husband and I are new to Houston and decided to book a Joyride City Tour to learn more about the area. Our hostess Sarah was amazingly detailed and knowledgeable.She arrived on time in her comfortable Polaris GEM Electric Cart. We were expecting to be on a bus with a ton of tourists, but to our surprise it was a private tour! We learned so much about the history of the city including the various districts, important buildings, culture, restaurants and more.

This is a real pleasant tour of the downtown midtown points of interest if you do not want to stop or spend time. We did not have it, so it was perfect. Another positive feature is to help you plan what you want to do and you can ask someone who knows good information. A bit expensive but you have to expect that for such a small group. I recommend it for that purpose.
