Our tour guide, Janie, was wonderful. Professional, sweet, knowledgeable and her auto was spotless. I give her a 5 star. However, the tour itself was just OK. Most people think of a Plantation as one that has the main house and the outbuildings. We were surprised that Savannah did not have one like that and that the definition of a plantation is simply "land." The cemetery was very interesting and we loved her interpretation of some of the grave statues. The drive through town was just ok. Janie did tell us about the house museums that are scattered throughout the city. Save yourself some money and try those as they will give you a better feel for what Savannah was like before, during and after the Civil War.
