First, the tubing itself is really fun and it’s a nice long float (1.5 hours?) However, that was marred by how poorly run and operated this business is. Basically, use any other company. We made a 2:30 reservation, having filled out waivers online ahead of time. We showed up at 2:15 to mass chaos. No waivers on file, “system crashed” need to fill out all new ones. No workers wearing mask. Handing same pen and waiver clipboard to a variety of people clustered around two employees. After signing waivers, we were told they were out of life jackets, having overbooked, and we should go stand in a long line to wait for people finishing their tubing and take the life jackets right off their bodies as they exited the water. No sanitizing measures in place. No distancing measures in place. No masks required. No way to get a properly fitted child size life jacket for a child. From there we were told to go stand in an even longer line to wait for a bus to the tubing launch. Again, no masks, no distancing, no advance warning of the need to be packed on a bus with 50 other strangers ahead of time in the midst of a huge Covid spike in Utah. No sanitizing of the bus between passenger loads. When we get to the top, a grumpy teenage employee informs us that there are no tubes at the top and we need to wait in a large group - again - for a tube delivery. When the tubes finally arrive, the employee literally threw them off the trailer into the crowd. Mass chaos and trampling ensued. No requests to line up, no one helping to hand them out. Also no double tubes for the many, many people who had reserved them. We were told to wait again for the next trailer load, which would hopefully have them. In the interim, three more busloads of people joined us. When the next trailer arrived, again the tubes were tossed onto the crowd’s heads (at this point probably 100-150 people were waiting.) families with young children got stepped on and shoved aside as teenagers and college students jumped on the trailer to grab them first. No employee helped hand them out, asked people to line up, asked anyone about their tube type reservations, etc. I do not know (but do not believe based on what else I saw) that tunes were sprayed with sanitizing solution between uses. When we finally got on the river (1 hr and 45 mins after our reservation time) we had a very enjoyable float with our family. But I would never use or recommend this company again.

Wow, this was a logistical and COVID nightmare. These guys are 100% contributing to the spread of COVID. We made a reservation in advance and filled out a waiver online (though we had to fill out the waiver again in person because their system crashed). You would assume that if they're taking reservations, you would be guaranteed a tube and a life jacket and a safe shuttle ride to the drop off. Definitely not the case. We were told that they had run out of lifejackets so we had to wait 20 minutes for people to finish their float on the river, take off jackets and hand them to us. No sanitization just handing off from one body to the next. Then we waited in a line with about 100-200 people under the sun for another 35 minutes for our turn to get on the shuttle where we all packed on, leaving no empty seats or rows between people. No masks. We got off the shuttle and once again waited for tubes. In the meantime two additional shuttles arrived after us while we waited and when the trailer of tubes arrived it was a free for all with 100 people crowded around the trailer throwing elbows to get a tube because we had all waited an hour already. There is about 1 employee managing all this. "Managing" meaning telling people to get off the road but allowing the free for all tube grab. No lines. No order. This place is completely run by 18-year-olds who don't give a s***. Our reservation was at 2pm. We arrived at 2:10 (they say to arrive 30 minutes early) and we didn't actually get our tube and onto the water until 4pm. Why allow people to make reservations if you're going to book as many people as possible? The float down the river was great. If there is any other way to float the river without using High Country, do it.

Once we actually managed to hit the river, the experience was wonderful. Nearly everything prior to that point was miserable. * They overbooked so there were no life jackets available when we arrived. We had to stand with a large crowd where previous guests were coming in from the river and ask them for their life jackets. We ended up being delayed a full hour due to this. * None of the staff seemed to know answers to key questions. We got the wrong answer to every single question we asked. One staff member actually directed us to the wrong bus! * We ordered online, including filling out the waivers, but the system was down so we had to sign a new one. * Once the bus dropped us off at the embarking location, we had to wait another half hour for more tubes to be delivered. There were none waiting for us. Other notes: * I strongly recommend bringing a paddle or or oar. It's way more fun when you can guide your tube away from obstacles. * There are TWO parking lots for High Country Adventure. One for RAFTS and one for TUBES. They have a tall banner identifying them. Make sure you go to the right one. * We will likely go again, but we'll bring our own life jackets.
