Zbiornik myszy
Mouses Tank Canyon to łatwa wędrówka o długości 1/4 mili pełna petroglifów sprzed ponad 3000 lat. Nazwa mysz pochodzi od Indianina renegata z Południa Paiute o imieniu Little Mouse.
3
Atlatl Rock
Atlatl Rock to skrzyżowanie i mapa dla tych koczowniczych plemion podróżujących z porami roku. Skały te przedstawiały tereny łowieckie, mapy wody, dziką przyrodę, którą napotkają, a także lądy oznaczone świętymi miejscami ceremonialnymi. Nie mieli języka pisanego, więc wyryli w lakierze na zboczach tych kanionów, aby pomóc zachować zapis i przekazać Historię następnemu pokoleniu.

My dreams came true on the Valley of Fire hike! So beautiful! We signed up for a private hiking excursion in the Valley of Fire (call the office to arrange this one). We learned about it by talking to our river guide. A private tour is actually quite affordable - might depend on your group size. Call the office to find out. Michelle took 5 of us on two trails. She explained about vegetation and petroglyphs. We saw some big horned sheep. She is an energetic and knowledgeable person. Friendly and kind. Excellent communication overall and when she was a bit late picking us up. We were in great care the whole time and not worried at all.

Our group of three had a fabulous private tour with Ian and we enjoyed every minute of it. We found River Dogz to be a wonderful company to work with and they made sure everything ran smoothly. Ian is a fantastic guide and we had a lovely day at Valley of Fire. Ian took lots of photos for us and provided them after the tour which made the day even better. One benefit of this tour is that it can be customized to the skill and fitness level of the participants. We enjoyed some moderate climbs but it could also be a fairly easy walk, if desired. Either way the views are stunning and we found it to be a great escape from the strip.
