Pryography is an art technique that involves using high temperatures to 'draw' designs and patterns in to wood, and also add shading and texture to the working surface. In this Inspired Art Studio class, participants will learn the basics of this art form while creating 4 different wood art pieces, using Colorado Wildlife and the Rocky Mountain Landscape as inspiration. These pieces will then be assembled into a wall hanging or mobile art piece that can be hung in the creators home to as a souvenir of their time spent in the Colorado Rockies.

Very fun family activity. Let us all let our imagination run wild but you don’t need to bring any artistic talent! We dropped in without a reservation but I’d recommend booking if you’re on a schedule.

This is a phenomenal experience if you’re in Estes Park and looking to take a break from hiking or slow down and relax. Natalie is amazing, from explaining the process to helping to finish the pieces. I don’t consider myself particularly artistic, and this is a medium that I had zero previous experience with, but it was still fairly easy to pick up as a novice, and we had a wonderful time!
