Perfect family friendly activity! Did the float tour with two children (ages 5 and 11) and both had a great time! Originally sold out, Chris promptly arranged a trip for us. Very well organized and our guide Calvin was amazing! Shortly after our trip we received great pictures of our family on the raft. A must do family activity only 30 minutes from Portland. Do it!

Just went rafting with NWA and loved it! Chris and Max and Calvin are awesome guides, with tons of knowledge about the area. And finishing the trip at Bent Shovel Brewery, a unique beer garden in the middle of the forest, was a super way to finish the trip, make some memories and cement some friendships with this outfit. The trip is close enough to Portland to fit the whole day easily into our schedule. Highly recommend!

I've had the fortune to run several river trips with Chris, the owner, mostly on the Clackamas, but the Santiam, Sandy and other runs too. Chris is just an outstanding guide and person, just fun to be around, loves the river, and the crew I've met follow his example. Safe, fun, awesome. The McIver to Barton run is super nice, and having a pint of Bent Shovel brew right after take-out, so perfect, the woods with some beer and some rafting friends. Great times. (I'd also suggest, try rafting in the spring when the water is higher, super fun rain or shine. Chris and crew will gear you up and hit bigger waves.)
