Your naturalist guide will choose one of two different trails (2-4 miles based on experience) that will offer breathtaking views of waterfalls, the Tongass National Forest, and the world-famous Mendenhall Glacier. Your expert guide will provide interpretation along the way and share information about this unique and amazing ecosystem and its inhabitants. Possible wildlife sightings include: black bears, American bald eagles, wild Alaskan salmon, porcupines, and more! Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Southeast Alaska, stretch your legs, and get some exercise on this incredible outdoor adventure.

We had a fabulous time. The best guide ever. He was so nice and informative. He was willing to accommodate to our needs. The tour was amazing. We saw how beautiful nature is. The tour company responded quickly when our ship changed its time in port.

Our hike was fantastic! The scenery was incredibly beautiful and we learned so much about the local surroundings and history of the area. And most importantly, Gene was a wonderful tour guide - extremely knowledgeable and just a lovely person to spend an afternoon with. If you enjoy hiking, this is the excursion for you!

This trip surpassed all expectations! Andy and Savanna taught us so much about the forest and really made this trip so much more than a hike!! My husband, who isn’t usually interested in plants, is still talking about this trip days later. I wish we had more time in Juneau as I would love to explore another tour with Andy and team!!
