We just returned from a fabulous afternoon touring the Real Pirates Museum in Salem, MA. Our guide was an expert on the history of piracy in and around MA during the 18th century. Featured is a recounting of the real-life story of "Black Sam" Bellamy and his beloved, Maria Hallett. The name of Bellamy's ship was the Whydah Gally. Seeing the actual treasures and parts of this ancient ship was a thrill. Everything is researched and authenticated. The dioramas are first class. You will not be disappointed.
