Beautiful scenery, fall was the perfect time for a first-time river rafting experience. The race course at this time of year was a perfect mix of smooth water and mild rapids. Our guide Brian was experienced, knowledgeable and personable

I was visiting Taos for Michael Hearne 's Big Barn Dance and decided to drive out to The Gorge Bridge while waiting for my Air B&B check in. I remembered from a previous 2019 trip , Taos Box, that The Far Flung office was very close. I stopped in to investigate the possibilities of fitting a rafting trip into my stay. I decided on early 1/2 day Race Course trip. Even a low water levels the trip was fun, the scenery was beautiful. Our guides Brian and Chaz were efficient, thorough, and knowledgeable. My only complaint is the 1/2 day trip is too short to have the famous FFA riverside sandwich spread! I will return to Taos and you can bet I will get on the river with Far Flung!

We booked a rafting trip with Far Flung Adventures. They were flexible with the schedule to accommodate our travel. Our guide Nick was very thorough with safety information, was well informed about history and other fun facts, and gave great instructions during the tour. It was a very fun trip and we’d absolutely do it again.
